The Bank complies with the legislative decree No. (35) For the year 2005, which is related to organizing the work of the Islamic Banks; the legislative decree No. (28) for the year 2001 and its executive instructions; the regulation No.(23) for the year 2002; the corporate law No.(29) for the year 2011; and the regulations stated by the Monetary and Credit council according to Shari’a rules and principles. The Bank is registered with the Banking Supervision Commission as a private bank under No. (15) The Bank is registered with a total authorized capital of SP 5,000,000,000 representing 50,000,000 shares; with a par value of SP 100 per share. The Bank started its operations on 27 August 2007. The Bank's headquarter is located at Al Nijmah Square, Damascus – Syrian Arab Republic.
